1. We are Rotarians outside of our Rotary meetings. We provide service to our community regardless which organization that we hapen to be involved with at that moment. That service, even though it might be with another organization and not in the name of Rotary, should still count toward doing good for the sake of Rotary.
2. We need to socialize more and do business with Rotarians
3. Rotary is more loose on attendance than what our individual club is. Look for ways to encourage make ups, but don't let attendance be the reason that someone does not join because they are afraid of not being there 100% of the time.
Nancy said something during that meeting that made me think about being a Rotarian. She said, "When do you join the club, but when did you become a Rotarian?" I believe that I "became" a Rotarian when I joined the Board. That is about the time that I was starting to get a handle on what was going on in Rotary and I had a better understanding of how I could help my Club, the District, and Rotary International.
